Understanding breeds confidence. It is very difficult to have confidence about anything you do not understand. One of the biggest reasons people do not have confidence when dealing with other people is they do not understand how. Confidence is the belief or feeling of something being certain or that something will happen or that something is true. Confidence is also the belief or feeling that you can do a certain thing. What you mind can comprehend and conceive you can achieve.
Confidence can result from two types of understandings. The understanding that something exist and other understanding of how something exist. For instances, you may have confidence in the power of gravity, because you understand it exist, but you may not completely understand how it exist.
There are many things we have confidence about, but we do not know how it is or how it happens, like electricity or gas in a automobile. Take electricity for example, you may understand that if you put a plug into a electrical socket that it will power a machine or lamp, but you may not understand how electrical power works or happens.
Understanding that something is brings a certain level of confidence, but understanding why or how something works bring an even greater level of confidence.
